Capturing photos of projects can be a moving target in the landscape world. We tend to take photos right after we complete a project, so pictures usually reflect brand new landscapes. That can cut both ways: yes, it looks great when it’s brand spanking new, but plants tend to look better after they have had a couple years to grow (of course). Sometimes homeowners don’t keep up on maintenance or they move, so we lose the opportunity to take nice photos. And finally, sometimes we’re just so busy that it can be a challenge to come back and take photos. But we do love to go back and see previous projects!
